Normal Opening Hours

(Weather permitting)

Wednesday          10:00 – 15:00
Thursday              10:00 – 15:00
Saturday               10:00 – 15:00
Sunday                  10:00 – 15:00

The track itself is approximately 1500m long and is of a loamy woodchip/soil base that is able to tolerate pretty much most of what the British climate can throw at it. The deceptively compact layout provides a number of elevation changes and plenty of different elements to challenge even the most established and skilled of riders yet is easy enough to negotiate if you’re more of a novice rider.

There are plenty of different jumps from small ski jumps, a huge double jump (expert riders only) and the infamous Apex “Step-up” giving plenty of opportunity to hone your skills. Fast straights, tight turns, wide sweeping turns, berms and bowl turns with a couple of big hills thrown in for good measure, all add to the challenge and excitement.

Here at Apex Motocross we pride ourselves in going the extra mile to ensure the track is always prepared to the highest of standards with our full time legendary track builder and we keep it well watered during the summer months utilising our permanent  built in sprinkler system and water bowser. Rider and spectator safety is always at the forefront of everything we do, be it making regular adjustments to the track, providing paramedic cover, insurance and our lighting and siren system that assists our regular marshalling staff.

We split riders into separate groups based on their ability so that the slower riders are not out on track with the fastest riders and also to limit the numbers of riders out on circuit at any one time.
